Welcome to the Florida Student Chapter of SMM!

The Florida Student Chapter of the Society for Marine Mammalogy (FSCSMM)


Mission Statement:

The FSCSMM’s mission is to create a welcoming and supportive environment for undergraduate and graduate students in the state of Florida and nearby areas to discuss and foster their interests in the research and conservation of marine mammals.  We strive to accomplish this goal primarily by holding an annual symposium where students can present their research, learn about fellow students’ research, and meet and network with professionals working in the field of marine mammalogy.
